There are two types of accounts currently available - 'Member' and 'Administrator'. Each account is described in more detail below allowing you to select the most appropriate account for your needs.

Member Account

A 'Member' account provides you with the functionality of e-mailing requests for the addition, deletion and modification of Bliss-words and Bliss-categories. The requests submitted are reviewed by approved Administrators and if successful, the change will be implemented into the dictionary.

The 'Member' account is particularly useful for individuals who have a sound understanding of the Blissymbolic language and whom interact with Bliss-users on a frequent basis. You may be a Bliss-instuctor or have a family member/friend who uses Blissymbolics for communication and you think it would be useful for you to have the ability to make requests for additions, deletions or modifications to Bliss-words and Bliss-categories.

Administrator Account

An 'Administrator' account would typically be valuable to BCI members or individuals who had the permissions to approve additions, deletions and modifications to Bliss-words and Bliss-categories before the implementation of this website.

Administrators have all the functionality of the Members, but have the additional functionality that they can approve and make the changes to the dictionary.

Administrators also have the functionality of approving and managing 'Member' and 'Administrator' Accounts.
